Here are some quick answers to the frequently asked questions about BCK 2008.
Q. What is BlogCamp 2008?
A. BlogCamp Kerala is an unconference conceived by a group of volunteer bloggers based in and around Kerala. The BlogCamp Kerala 2008 is sponsored by Kerala Tourism. They have been gracious enough to provide us with the venue for the event.
Q. Sounds good, when is the event?
A. BlogCamp Kerala 2008 is conducted on August 16th, 2008. Conveniently placed on a Saturday, just after Independence day making it easy for everyone to visit it.
Q. Wow, I am free on that day, where is it being conducted?
A. This is the best part of the whole camp. BlogCamp Kerala has the distinction of being the first unconference to be held in a houseboat!! See the venue page for more information.
Q. Thats nice!!, How do I join in?
A. All you have to do is register yourself in the blogcamp contact list and we will get in touch you for confirmation. Once confirmed, you and your blog will be showcased on the attendees page. Did I say we have limited seats and entry is free on a first come first serve basis? See this page for more info.
Q. Who are the sponsors?
A. Kerala Tourism is the main event sponsor who have been gracious enough to sponsor the venue (houseboat). We are also looking for other sponsors who might be interested in the event. Please get in touch with us for more information on the same.
Q. How do I promote the event?
A. You can use the graphics on our promote page or create some of your own on your blogs. You can send it in to us to be included in the promote page. How you promote the event is upto you, on your blogs, on your orkut community or even through a few phone calls
